After many years living in London we know a fantastic Indian Restaurant when we see one. The menu is varied and tempting, the wine was lovely and the service was excellent (we particularly appreciated the young lady's honestly when we asked what was in a particular dish :"I don't know... no one has ever ordered that"). When the food came it was delicious. We'll definitely be going back.
Northallerton has two good Indian restaurants but this is by far the best. Love this place, Great food, great value, great service and the best tasting phal I have ever had. Been going here for about eight years and have worked through most of the menu, never found a bad meal. Highly recommend, Mass Biran starter, Palak Sag and keema rice and chilli Nan bread.

Just spent £28 for 2 the bbq ribs are ok but in gravy and can’t taste bbq sauce and expensive, too large for starter. Prawn crackers are not fresh, pork and mushrooms is very salty and pork is a cheap cut making it very chewy, the pork in special fried rice is also unbeatable as like cardboard!!! My husband plumps for a beef curry and he’s normally happy with that but then he will eat anything 🙄 teach me I should go to supermarket and buy Chinese at least I won’t be disappointed with quality I’ve actually paid for, this isn’t first time I’ve been disappointed here maybe one day I’ll learn grr
Very good food with a great combination of ingredients. I now driver further than my local, just for this place!

Top food and drink! Disabled parking and loos and when I asked if any veggie options (Sunday so not set menu like the other days of been) he said "tell me what you want and I'll make it!" Sweet and sour deep fried veg with rice.....beaut!! 👌👌👌 big darts scene here f.y.i.
Lovely cozy place, great food choices, huge generous portions. Friendly staff. Proper traditional pub with no pretentions

I chose this pub based on reviews, and I have been absolutely delighted with my choice. The staff are very welcoming, the place has a calm, serene vibe, (when the pub is closed) the room was lovely with a very comfy bed, soft pillows and all beautifully clean, with everything you could need, including hair conditioner, (big plus as so many hotels fail to supply! ) I enjoyed a tasty meal and woke up to a gorgeous breakfast. Lovely attention to details - , I particularly liked the vase of yellow roses on the breakfast table! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the area.
Beautiful food. Good prices. Allows dogs in the bar part..... recommend booking.
